Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS MAT PILATES?

Mat Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that focuses on building strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing posture using your own body weight. Performed on a mat, it targets your core while also strengthening the arms, legs, back, and glutes through controlled, mindful movements.

WHO CAN DO MAT PILATES?

A mat pilates class is suitable for almost everyone, regardless of age, fitness level or experience.

Our classes can be tailored to your demand and needs.

I HAVE AN INJURY, CAN I STILL ATTEND A MAT PILATES CLASS?

In many cases, yes. Depending on the type of injury and where you are in your recovery, Pilates can often be adapted to suit your needs. We recommend starting with a 1:1 session, where we can tailor the exercises to your body and ensure you're moving safely and confidently.

Before booking any classes, please get in touch with us to discuss your injury and how we can best support you.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

Wear comfortable, fitted activewear that allows you to move freely.

We also recommend wearing grip socks for hygiene and safety during class.
